Surestay Plus Hotel By Best Western Durham Medical Center

Great place with its free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and fitness centre. I recall the helpful staff printing tickets for me during my first stay. I highly recommend it and will be back for Christmas!

I greatly enjoyed its reasonably large and brand-new rooms.

Had comfortable stay for our vacation, the staff were excellent, location was favourable to many food outlets. Location: the hotel was not far from Close to resturants and restaraunts and Durham, NC. Had lunch/dinner at Taco Bell, which we found just a short stroll away from the venue.

A hospitality hiccup

The proximity to Duke Hospital was convenient. Check-in was cute, and service was prompt.

Room was great. Nice bed more comfortable than our foam mattress. Breakfast was free and better than we expected. Plenty to choose from and come on waffles you make yourself!! Fantastic!!

Only thing we didnt like was the gold comforter thing on the bed. Just looked cheap I guess.

Clean rooms. Nice staff. Great location by restaurants and freeway. Exercise equipment was broken.

Some equipment in the exercise room was broken and very old.

The place smelled horrible, like mold and curry, uncomfortable at times. Do yourself a favor and check the room thoroughly before settling in.

I loved the hot cooked fried potatoes and toasted English muffins as part of the free daily buffet breakfast. Can't beat that for the money since everything tastes so good. The staff was very friendly and courteous. . The pillows and bedding were clean and I slept well. I will return.

The room smelled funny-maybe the cleaning solution should be improved. One person at the front desk told me there was no water at the hotel--only Coke. I don't drink any soda or pop. I went to the Coke machine and later called him to state that I had purchase bottled water at the machine.I Was charged state tac and a hotel tax of #14. What the hell is that?

Stay more enjoyable. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with visible dust and a sticky remote. I appreciated the good breakfast options, but maintenance issues detracted from the experience.

The room was comfortable with free wifi that worked, was reasonably clean, and it was quiet. The price was competitive and parking was easy. Overall, a good value.

Mildew in the shower, the toilet was broken, and the guy at the front desk when I checked in was a bit rude.

The price was right; the service was sufficient; the location was very good (next door to a Hilton and a five minute drive from Duke. I'll be back.

The gym is quite small, and there are no movies on demand in the room. Aside from that, no complaints at all.

The free Wi-Fi was awesome for staying connected! Room was decent, but could use some updates. Breakfast had good options, but the area felt iffy with some questionable characters around 😬

I stayed at another local Hotel the first night and the service and room were appaling. I was treated as though I were the only guest by your staff. Will continue to use in future.
